Redefining Access Through Sustainability

We believe that every keycard, wristband, and access product should leave the lightest possible footprint on our planet.

Born from a Simple Question

Every year, the global hospitality industry produces billions of plastic key cards. Most end up in landfills, taking centuries to decompose. We asked ourselves: what if there was a better way?

EcoKey was founded with a single mission -- to prove that access control technology and environmental responsibility are not mutually exclusive. By pioneering the use of recycled PVC, PLA bioplastics, bamboo fiber, and FSC-certified wood in RFID products, we have demonstrated that sustainable materials can match -- and often exceed -- the performance of conventional plastics.

Today, we serve hotels, resorts, event venues, and corporate facilities across multiple continents, helping them reduce their environmental footprint one keycard at a time. Our products are manufactured under ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified processes, ensuring that sustainability never comes at the cost of quality.

What Drives Us Forward

Our mission is to become the global standard for sustainable access solutions, making eco-friendly RFID products the norm rather than the exception.

Sustainability

Environmental stewardship is embedded in every decision, from raw material selection to end-of-life recycling programs.

Innovation

Continuous R&D in sustainable materials and manufacturing processes pushes the boundaries of what eco-friendly RFID can achieve.

Quality

ISO 9001 certified processes guarantee that every product meets the highest standards of durability, performance, and reliability.

Global Responsibility

We serve clients worldwide and actively contribute to UN Sustainable Development Goals through responsible sourcing and carbon reduction.

How We Build a Greener Future

Sustainable R&D

Our research team continuously explores new bio-based polymers, recycled composites, and natural fibers that can replace virgin plastics in RFID applications. From PLA bioplastic derived from corn starch to bamboo fiber composites, we test and validate materials that meet both environmental and technical specifications.

Recycler Partnerships

We maintain partnerships with certified recycling facilities and post-consumer material processors to ensure a reliable supply of high-grade recycled PVC and PETG. Our take-back programs create closed loops where old keycards are collected, processed, and transformed into new products.

FSC-Certified Supply Chain

Every wooden product we create -- from cherry wood wristbands to bamboo NFC cards -- uses FSC-certified materials, guaranteeing that the timber comes from responsibly managed forests. Our supply chain traceability ensures full chain-of-custody compliance from forest to finished product.

Standards We Live By

Our certifications are independently audited proof of our commitment to quality and environmental responsibility.

ISO 14001:2015

Environmental Management System certification, verifying that our operations follow internationally recognized environmental practices through independent third-party audits.

ISO 9001:2015

Quality Management System standard ensuring consistent product quality through documented processes, regular audits, and a culture of continuous improvement.

FSC Certification

Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification, guaranteeing that all wood and bamboo materials come from responsibly managed forests with full traceability.

EU RoHS

Full compliance with the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive (2011/65/EU), ensuring our products are free from lead, mercury, cadmium, and other harmful substances.

REACH Compliance

Compliance with EU REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) on chemicals, ensuring no Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) are present in any of our products.

Carbon Neutral (PAS 2060)

Certified to the BSI PAS 2060 standard for carbon neutrality, demonstrating measured, reduced, and offset greenhouse gas emissions across our operations.
